Laboratory & Field Research
With thousands of cultivars and demonstration vineyards throughout China, Shenyuan is positioned to create and test new commercially viable cultivars.
The company collaborates with leading grape experts, research institutions, and universities both in China and abroad, including France, Israel, and Japan.
Cultivar Licensing & Promotion
With two decades of laboratory and field research, Shenyuan has developed dozens of commercially viable proprietary cultivars. The portfolio includes green, red and black grapes with a wide range of flavors, aromas, styles and sugar levels to meet market demand.
Shenyuan has built a strong client base in China and is actively expanding into global markets through trade fairs, industry collaborations, and direct partnerships.
Demo Vineyards & Seedling Production
Shenyuan has established production bases across China and breeds more than two million seedlings per year.
The company operates demonstration vineyards in Jiangsu province (in the east), Yunnan province (southwest), Sichuan province (central) and the Xinjiang region (northwest). Project sizes range from a small-scale research site in Yunnan to a 670-hectare vineyard for “Summer Black” grapes in Xinjiang.
Marketing & Sales
Shenyuan cooperates with farmers to get grapes to market. The initiatives include marketing support, cultivar updates, training programs and an online sales platform to connect farmers to buyers.
Shenyuan has partnerships with tens of thousands of farmers and also sells more than 2,000 tons of its own premium grapes annually, both online and offline, thus building its reputation in the market.
Education & Training
Shenyuan is committed to advancing industry knowledge through training and education. The company offers detailed grape-growing guides and operates a Grape Business School, featuring theoretical instruction, case studies by participants and vineyard visits.
Shenyuan also maintains longstanding partnerships with leading schools, including Nanjing Agricultural University and China Agricultural University.
